How Can We Contribute to Spreading Positivity in Our Lives and Around Us

When we wake up every morning and see the smiles of our loved ones, we instantly smile back at them and greet each other, saying good morning. Sometimes in a more professional setup, we say “Good Morning, have a nice day ahead”. Have you ever wondered why people try to say the most positive words early in the morning? Every morning when you wake up, you do certain things. The routine is almost the same for the morning. You wake up, you do your morning rituals, whatever you like, you leave for work if you are working professionals, you go to college/school if you are a student, and if you are a homemaker, you finally take some breath and enjoy your cup of tea in solace.

So the point is that the routine is almost fixed and different for everyone. Nowadays, we are constantly rushing from place to place and in fact, from one emotion to another. But imagine, every morning with all the hustle and bustle going on in your surroundings, you are taking a moment of peace, even just for five minutes, and reading the unique good morning quotes and sharing the same with the people around you. For example, you wake up and you greet your child saying, “Good morning, little one, wake up with a thankful heart. Each morning is a gift, and you have so many wonderful things to be grateful for today!”  By just saying these few words, you are helping your child in a most wonderful way, where the mind of the child will grasp the very first thoughts and subconsciously work towards it.

Let’s explore through this article, knowing about more possibilities where we can unknowingly contribute our part in creating a more positive surrounding around us in this chaotic world.

How Do Positive Quotes Work?

Every day cannot be the same for us. Some days we feel like just not talking, we will have emotions like anger, irritation, sadness, frustration, etc., and those emotions should not be avoided. Just like all your happy emotions, they are also part of your life. But sometimes we forget that we are trying to impose that emotion on others as well. If you are feeling angry, you cannot simply transfer just emotion to your loved one or the person around you, but rather, you can be at peace. And at those moments, the positivity and all the beautiful quotes we have been reading about should show us the way.  “Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is to breathe, pause, and choose peace over anger.” Quotes like this should come to practice when we feel anger. Or as Lawrence Douglas Wilder has said, “Anger does not solve anything. It builds nothing, but it can destroy everything.”  Such thoughts instantly give us a reality check, and we try to follow the same and make peace in our minds.

Similarly, when you are feeling less motivated, not feeling the zeal to complete the task, remember to process those emotions as well and do what you feel is best for you, but in that moment, you will simply start reading good quotes and thoughts like –

“You don’t need to see the whole staircase, just take the first step. Motivation often follows action, not the other way around.”

“You are not defined by your worst days. Your potential is not measured by your current energy level. This moment does not define you – your response to it does.”

These words work as a help for you. These kinds of words are often needed when we are feeling certain emotions to give us the hope, the positivity, and that beautiful ray of sunshine to keep us going.

How Can We Start Contributing to People’s Lives Around Us For Motivation?

Every morning, when we wake up, taking just five minutes to share positive good morning quotes with our loved ones, friends, and family can create a significant difference in our lives if we start practicing these uplifting words. We can even take the time to explain the meanings of these beautiful sayings to our house staff or others who may not understand. If that’s not possible, we can simply greet them warmly and show our appreciation. This approach will not only make them feel valued, but it will also foster a positive environment around them. They might choose to share this positivity with those around them, initiating a chain reaction of goodwill.

Sharing positive reminders with people around us can have a profound impact. Some simple words like the ones;s mentioned below will create a huge difference.

  • “Smile, you are amazing.”
  • “Your kindness makes the world brighter.”
  • “Today is full of possibilities.”
  • “You are enough, just as you are.”
  • “Breathe. Believe. Begin.”

Start doing these simple things and see the results of it yourself.
